Charlotte United Christian Academy is a vital and active ministry of Resurrection Church and Garr Memorial Church designed to provide quality spiritual and academic education for children in pre-school through twelfth grade.Church member families do receive financial benefit since the church underwrites the difference between tuition charges and the actual cost of providing education at Charlotte United Christian Academy. The Warrior Foundation Financial Aid Program has been established to assist families in meeting tuition costs.
While The Warrior Foundation Financial Aid budget is limited, all interested families are encouraged to apply. Scholarship grants are awarded on the basis of parental financial need as indicated by the required financial statement and tax form. Priority is given to renewal of financial assistance where necessary. Proper consideration is then given to those seeking aid for the first time. Grant amounts can differ from year to year since they are based on the specific financial information submitted and the financial aid budget.
Charlotte United Christain Academy belongs to the School and Student Service For Financial Aid based in Princeton, New Jersey, which requires all parents applying for financial assistance to complete a Parents' Financial Statement each year. These statements are processed and returned to the school for final grant determination by The Warrior Foundation Financial Aid Committee.
If you are interested in applying for financial aid, please fill out the Financial Aid Request form and return to the school office immediately. You will then receive instructions on applying to the School and Student Service which contains the Parents' Financial Statement. This Statement must be completed later than April 16, 2009. A photocopy of your 2008 1040 tax form and all attached schedules should be sent directly to Charlotte United Christian Academy and clearly marked for attention by the Financial Aid Committee no later than May 1, 2009. All applications, forms, tax information, and other related documents are held in strictest confidence.
In addition to applying through the School and Student Service for Financial Aid, all interested families must also complete an application to the Children’s Scholarship Fund.
Applications received after the deadline will be considered for financial aid at a proportionately reduced amount and such applicants may be required to pay full tuition for a portion of the year. The School Scholarship Service sends directly to the Financial Aid Committee its computations of parental need based on the information supplied. The Committee then examines these computations and each family's tax form as the basis for making scholarship grants. All decisions on scholarship awards are made by the Financial Aid Committee during the month of May and June. Parents will be notified about the Committee's determination during the month of June , 2009.
